First Marko: Text post to all.
This is Sandy. I was just talking with Nick and he told me about caps. I guess they use them for money?
Has anyone found any bottle caps while we've been cleaning up? I haven't.
Also Louis and I have been fixing up some of the old clothes I found so if you guys don't wanna wear your jumpsuits every day you can come get them. I've got dresses and stuff. Some hats too.
Has anyone else figured out what we should be doing? Like do we just keep hanging out here or what?
Do we try to open the other pods?
OH! And Jiro and I are trying to like, gather up the roaches to keep them locked away so we don't have to kill them. Any idea how we can keep them from getting out?
That's all I guess.
Bye?
[She has no idea how to end this.]

wheres the block function?
no subject
Jerk.
no subject
texting is stupid when we're trapped in an enclosed space
also takes longer to have a conversation
[Because he's using one finger.]
no subject
So do you hate texting more or talking more?
no subject
you dont know shit about me
.
.
texting
no subject
Alright fine you can come talk to me in person then. But this is still useful.
Probably.
no subject
[He's still looking through the settings for a block button.]

[No one needs to see all her rambling thoughts just because she's bored or something.]
no subject
But so far I think it's just a you problem.
Voice
[Really, there was so much else that she felt she could have provided useful commentary to, but the moment she heard word of Jiro she just completely lost her train of thought.]
[Voice]
Kinda?
Look I just figured he might be less of a jerk if we tried. He said in his world he could talk to animals so I figured...yeah he probably doesn't want them to die.
I still haven't figured out if it's even possible though. And if it's us or them I'd still pick us.
[Voice]
I assure you, nothing you try will get him to be less of a jerk. He's the type of guy who tugs everyone else around just because he's so sad and miserable that he wants everyone else to be just as miserable as him. Probably due to some deep-rooted childhood trauma or something.
I mean, how can we be sure if he can even really talk to animals or not. We're still not entirely positive weather or not our memories are mixed with vivid dreams we had in the pods, and that's on top of the delusions he's already been proven to have.
[Voice]
I mean...I don't think any of my memories are fake. Do you feel like you might not be who you think you are?
no subject
I don't know. I mean, like you said, my memories feel real. But despite how they feel there's still what the Pip-Boy told us when we first woke up, right? And that right there leaves an automatic sense of doubt.
That's not to say that I think all of my memories are a lie, but I can't help but wonder if some of it may be mixed together with an elaborate dream. After all, we were apparently asleep for a while, right?
no subject
I remember like...really specific stuff you know? It's not like a dream it's just...no way. The computers have gotta be wrong. If I'm not from New York or any of the things I think I know about my life then who am I?
[Because clearly multiverse theory makes more sense then side effects from being in some kind of hyper sleep.]
no subject
[She huffed out quite audibly with that]
But then again, nothing would explain how we had ended up here, or why.
[And she really wasn't entirely sure exactly which one of those scenarios sounded worse to her.]
no subject
I mean I know magic used to be a thing in my world. Maybe it's just magic.
...even if this place seems pretty much overwhelmed with tech stuff.
no subject
But I thought all the sorcerers lost their powers. Could there really be some magic left?
no subject
Maybe they stole it? Whoever did this to us could have like...all the powers and be using them for themselves? I dunno I think dad told me a story like that once.
Oh wait...did you mean the sorcerers in your world lost their powers?
no subject
Ah. Not that all people with powers were bad! I knew quite a few sorcerer's from back home who simply wanted to live their lives!
Were you a sorcerer back in your own world Sandy?
no subject
No way! I mean first off if I could do magic I think I'd be called a witch? Maybe it depends on how the magic works.
But no I think the way things work in my world I'd be called a "Meta" or a "Mutant." Dad always called them Metas because Mutant is like a whole genetic thing?
Anyway all I could do was turn to stone. Nothing cool like magic. I never even really used it for anything except opening bottles without a bottle opener.
no subject
[Actually, now that she though about it...]
... Is that why your parents named you Sandy?
[Ah how cheesy! Not that she was really one to think such things.]
It was a genetic thing with the sorcerer's in my home. Only passed down between certain bloodlines, so not just anyone was capable of such abilities, and everyone had certain abilities that consisted as their main skill. I'm pretty sure a lot of the little differences might just be a matter of context between our homes.
no subject
Actually it's Cassandra...I just use Sandy for short.
And I mean, you might not be too far off. My dad could turn into sand. He was actually kind of a big deal he was so powerful with his shapeshifting and stuff! They called him "The Sandman."
no subject
Did she strike a chord?]
I see, was your father the one who named you then?
[She felt like she should start treading this conversation a little more cautiously. Although she was still quite curious about Sandy's life before all this.]
no subject
[Fancy names, puntastic nicknames. Yeah that fit his MO.]
It never really came up I guess.
no subject
And it's not like it always matters, I personally never even knew either of my biological parents, so I don't know who gave me my name or why. I always feel like what matters most is the identity you hold with that name.
no subject
Like, names are just whatever you make them. Don't like your name? Get a cooler one.
[Like Sandman or Spider-man.]
I think you've made your name pretty cool.
no subject
[Truthfully she had never given her own name much thought. Perhaps that was on purpose though. The more she thought about semantics like that the more she started to worry about things she knew would get no answer.]
And why's that? Did I do something particularly 'cool' recently?
no subject
Stuff like that is cool you know?
...plus I'm pretty sure if you wanted to you could kill us all so that's kind of badass.
no subject
Although it's flattering that you hold me in such high regard. You really think I can be that scary, hmn?
[Well... Perhaps. But she would at least like to think some of the others could provide a fighting chance against her. Otherwise she'd be worried about their overall survival.]
no subject
But yeah no you could totally kick all our asses if you wanted to.
[Sandy hasn't even REALLY seen her in action yet. But she can already picture Chocolat shredding her way through baddies with her rolls of wires, or making awesome shots with the old guns they would get to take with them on their adventures.]
Sometimes a girls gotta be scary to get things done right?
no subject
[Strange. Did her voice just change in tone for a second as she said that? Must have been a trick of the mind.]
But what do you mean you don't know what you want? Everybody wants something at all points in their life. It doesn't have to be something big and dramatic. Why, it can be something as small as a warm bed to sleep in, or a nice meal at the end of the day. Surely there's something you can think of that you'd want right this moment.
