Mnn. It happened fairly recently from when I left too. A great god-like force had threatened the entire planet at that time, and in it's wave of destruction it absorbed the power of every magical being on the planet. Truthfully as horrible as the situation was, the end of the sorcerers reign was probably better for everyone...

Ah. Not that all people with powers were bad! I knew quite a few sorcerer's from back home who simply wanted to live their lives!
