Attention!

This is Princess Azula attempting to communicate with all others who are currently confined to this vault.

[She's still not entirely sure this thing is going to work and feels very silly sitting in her room speaking into it.]

It has come to my attention that in the short space of time that we have been awake there has been some progress...but minimal communication or coordination between us all. As such I think we have suffered more injuries then necessary to say nothing of the time we've wasted.

As such I propose a meeting. A sort of council of war where we will share the information we have not only about the Vault, but each other.

If things continue to become more dangerous it would be in our best interests to know who we have and what they can do on our side.

If you'd rather keep your affairs to yourself so be it but I encourage you to attend the meeting regardless. We need to make some decisions about how to proceed from this point on.

If you have specific topics you would like to be addressed during this meeting feel free to speak with me privately if you prefer. Otherwise I expect everyone promptly in the Rec Room in three hours.

Snacks and beverages will be provided.

[A pause...and then.]

Also I would appreciate it if someone confirmed for me if this even transmitted. I'll be very cross if this ugly shackle can't even do what it's supposed to.

While I'm all for this, I can't very well say I consider you my de facto leader. And addressing people like you're in charge doesn't sit well with me.

I didn't see anyone else stepping forward to take charge so I thought I'd simply get things rolling. Are you volunteering?

While I have experience with leadership in situations that aren't dissimilar, I can't say I'm clamoring for it.

As things stand, I can't say if I'd support anyone as a "leader". While it would definitely be better to be more cohesive and on the same page, I don't think having a leader or voting someone in is the way to go at the moment.

It would be better if we try to meet up whenever something seems to occur that is worthy of note. So far the Pip-Boys seem to be doing their job for communication. We should utilize them more.

It's a heavy responsibility even with so few people under your command as I'm sure you know from your experience whatever that may have been.

[Luckily Azula still believes in a divine right to rule which takes some of the pressure off.]

That is precisely the sort of input I think we need to discuss as a group. You're right of course that we need to stay in contact more.

There's too many unknown variables already. I'm not comfortable leading or following someone I only know based on how they choose to portray themselves here.
There's no proof that anyone is or does what they say they do, after all.

A little holding back on the demands would have worked just as well in delivering the message and maybe made the other denizens more amiable too.

This place is already stressful enough for anyone involved, no need to go all authoritarian on the comms.

You know I'll be there, but maybe some of the others might need some more tactful verbiage.

Indeed, though I'm sure that info will go well during the meeting.

It was... hazardous and we pretty much could have easily died, but thankfully the medical bay and Sandy were resourceful enough to get us back to healthy levels on 'not dead'.

Good to know that poison isn't an absolute death sentence then.

Do you think if need be you could make a return trip without being poisoned as badly? If something goes wrong we might need to repair it again after all.

I've been thinking about that possibility...

I honestly wish I didn't have to, but considering the state of things, it'd less of a matter of 'if' and more of a matter of 'when'.

So I'm hoping we can improve upon the protective gear in this bunker so it will be safer to work on the generator. Even if at least one of the suits is made much stronger and resistant, that's all we'll need from the start since I can work alone.

It'll be slower, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Or dead.
